Easter Sunday: Evening Prayer over Zoom

  • Zoom (Please join email list or GroupMe to receive link) (map)

Since we’re not able to join in person for Holy Mass, we’re going to pray the Liturgy of the Hours over Zoom. We will be happy to provide the information to join if you would join either our email list or else text our Google Voice number (770-609-7784) to join our GroupMe (which is our most active community platform). In your text, please provide your name, email, and whether you fall into the category of college-age or young adult.

We will not publish the Zoom link on our website so as to prevent vandalism.

We will be online 10 minutes before the posted time.

The text can be found here.

The Liturgy of the Hours, like the Mass, is a public liturgy, so the whole Church is mysteriously present. But unlike the Mass, you don't need a priest to lead you, so it's just as real for you to pray by yourself on your phone as it is for the bishop to preside in a Cathedral. By the Liturgy of the Hours, the Church extends the grace of the Mass through the hours of the day to sanctify the day. In the Liturgy of the Hours, we enter into the eternal song of praise between the Persons of the Trinity and into Christ's prayer to the Father on behalf of the Church.

Though we will provide a text annotated with some instructions, you can also find the texts by downloading iBreviary for your mobile device:
