Summer Hike

Join us for our summer hike at 10 am on Saturday, August 24th, at Eagle’s Rest Park on Mt. Oglethorpe (7315 Monument Rd, Jasper, GA 30143). We will then meet for lunch at the Ball Ground Burger Bus (288 Gilmer Ferry Rd, Ball Ground, GA).

Directions:

  1. Follow Rt. 136 to Burnt Mt. and turn south on Monument Road.

  2. Follow Monument Road to the end (about 5 miles) and enter the Eagle’s Rest site.

  3. Drive up the hill to the parking area with the kiosk on the left.

  4. The trails start behind the kiosk. We will do the Oglethorpe Mt. Trail (2 miles).
