Recited Vespers

The location for Vespers has changed! Due to the suspension of the 5 p.m. Mass at Holy Family, we are now gathering for Vespers at St. Joseph in Marietta at 6:30 p.m., immediately following the 5:30 p.m. Sunday Mass. We will meet in the front pews to the right of the altar (opposite the choir area).

All are welcome. It is easy to learn if you are unfamiliar with Vespers. Vespers, also known as Evening Prayer, is part of the Liturgy of the Hours, the other major form of public prayer of the Church (other than the Mass).

The text we'll use is available in the form of the iBreviary app and through a subscription offered by Word on Fire.
