The Men’s Group had a great discussion last Tuesday, November 3rd that ultimately led to talking about lectio divina. Dan issued a 30-day challenge to spend 10 minutes per day praying with Scripture. Here are the links for the challenge and an explanation of lectio divina.
Today, we will discuss Isaiah 62: 1-5 and the quote below.
“Nothing is more practical than finding God, than falling in love in a quite absolute final way. What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning what to do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read whom you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.” - Pedro Arrupe, SJ
Dual meeting format: both on Zoom and in-person at St. Catherine of Siena's Teen Room. The Zoom link can be found here.
