Men's Group

  • St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church 1618 Ben King Road Kennesaw, GA, 30144 (map)

The Men’s Group currently is going through a 30-day challenge of praying Lectio Divina each day. Here are the links for the challenge and an explanation of Lectio Divina.

Today, we will discuss Pope Benedict XVI's brief homily, "On Silence and Solitude" and reflect on how St. Joseph experienced communion with God amidst work by discussing paragraphs 25-27 of Pope St. John Paul II's encyclical Redemptoris Custos (Guardian of the Redeemer). Also, please reflect on the quote below.

Nothing is more practical than finding God, than falling in love in a quite absolute final way. What you are in love with, what seizes your imagination will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning what to do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends, what you read whom you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with joy and gratitude. Fall in love, stay in love, and it will decide everything.” - Pedro Arrupe, SJ

Dual meeting format: both on Zoom and in-person at St. Catherine of Siena's Teen Room. The Zoom link can be found here.
